NOTE: This comes from an unnoficial source that is in no way affiliated or endorsed by the WNC.
- Although travel difficulties were the main reason for the PPV Date Change, it is also believed that the WNC didn't want to have to deal with scheduling issues as some superstars were booked for the ECWF show the same night. Also they didn't want to go head to head against TNA either. The reason they didn't move it to next week is obviously not wanting to compete with WWE.
We've been hearing rumors that the PPV date change might affect the ladder match between Wrestling God and Chris Jericho as it is unknown whether or not Jericho will have that date off.
- The injuries to Eddie G were legit. Matt Ackerman's injuries are also legit and suffered earlier in the month working an ECWF event. The WNC slightly exaggerated his injuries however.
- The Saint Kid Omen suffered a mild concussion during last weeks BeatDown main event. He is expected to work through it.
- Ally Rogers will apparently soon become a fulltime backstage interviewer as her ankle injury has taken longer to heel than expected.
- Rumors are circulating that Matt Ackerman may want to take some time off in the near future.
- This is expected to be Chris Jericho's last appearence in the WNC.
- WNC Officials are said to be impressed by two of the new debuts. Both Kid Dynomite Raine Price and Alex Seeker have been very respectful backstage and both seem to know the business extremely well. Seeker has wrestled before with the ECWF and XWA and Dynomite has just recently began wrestling with the NWWO.
- As reported earlier, Kid Dynomite came to the WNC as part of a talent-sharing agreement with NWWO as Jesse has begun wrestling there on a part-time basis.
- Rumors stating that Dimes is serving a 30 Day Suspension for behavioural issues are false. He is taking time off for undisclosed personal reasons as well as to deal with a nagging neck injury.
- Another superstar who has been on the shelf for a while is Insane Gary Lang. Apparently, a few months ago he suffered a Fractured Collarbone and has been kept off the road while he recovers.
- Former WNC Superstar Psycho Jester was backstage at last weeks BeatDown visiting friends. Jester still wrestles for XWA and ECWF.
- Savannah has been kept to a largely non-wrestling role due to a shoulder injury of some sorts.
- Todays shocking story: Ricky of the Trailer Park Boys is actually regularly attending classes at the Impact E-Fed DoJo in Ontario. He is actually very serious about improving his craft. Initially he agreed to appear as a recurring role however, after he received a crash course for a match, he has become increasingly interested.
- There were some isolated rumors claiming that Modern Marvel walked out of the WNC because he allegedly didn't want to job to Mr. Reality again. Those are untrue as Marvel left his active role in WNC (and eventually in ECWF) to move onto his role as full time booker and on-air talent in NBWF. He is also still a creative writer with XWA which he co-founded and plans on wrestling occaisonally for them.
- The WNC is planning a European tour for mid-September. The main reason is the decision not to have a PPV during that month so it gives them more time to do house shows. They may do TWO TV tapings from Europe and may spend up to a week and a half there. It is unknown which WNC superstars will be taking part in the tour as do to other company commitments, it wouldn't make sense to take everyone and keep having to fly people back for other promotions.
- Cena 54 was taken off the road a while back and is currently working hard in the e-fed dojo. He has worked a few house shows and dark matches since being taken off the road. He recently debuted in ECWF under a new redneck character. It is unknown whether WNC will be using this in the near future.
- New York's Most Wanted has been taken off the road for personal reasons. As a result, Da Gangsta has also been taken off the road.
- Referee Ryan Webner is currently on hiatus from the company as he and his wife are expecting their first child in September.
- J-Master had been taken off the road back in late June. Some have said he was suspended, others claim he is taking time off.
- Big Smoke injured his wrist at a house show last week. He is currently wearing a cast and will not be wrestling for approximately a month.
